The “far from great” that google gives a one star rating is giving these people too much credit. I have had the single worst customer service experience in my life dealing with them and my issues are still not resolved. I can’t even get ahold of a general manager to speak with. Do not buy a car from here unless you like dealing with one manager that over promises and another that sticks you with a bill you didn’t ask for.

I also had just bought a new 2026 Corvette stingray w/z51 from another dealer but was unhappy with the outlandish high spoiler and cold so Wendy suggested I talked to one of the salesmen there. Although no great price saving, really at any dealer in my life at least, I still did finally order a more selective styled Stingray in the color I actually wanted, with Z51 of course, and accepted paying a lot for what I wanted.

My salesman Noah was a huge help. We was very nice, knowledgeable and patient. Really nice person to talk to and I would absolutely work with him again. There were some issues with numbers, but no fault of his … but he made sure I was okay throughout the entire process. My car did not pass inspection for 2 issues. I bought the pictured 2019 Mustang. Looked great, drove great. Got a really good deal with a 1 year drivetrain warranty. Had an initial issue - as most used cars will - but they went out of their way to make it right. Really surprised me. I would buy there again.

I didn't visit Buchanan Chevrolet for service, I bought the car there but I have Buchanan Jeep down the road service my Camaro. Why? Because at Buchanan Chevrolet they are to cheap to Black top the area where the service bays are, in other words you're car gets driven through dirt/mud and stones to get to the service bays, so your beautiful clean car gets hogged up, your clean detailed tires get dirt and mud on them and your once clean mats get dirt on them as well. Started out very stressful, with a dented up brand new truck on the lot they were trying to sell me. When i flipped out on the team, they tried to de-escalate the situation the best they could, and luckily had another of the exact same identical truck, so they eventually got the sale, and i bought the new truck. Not sure about the service department, only dealt with the sales team. Pretty decent service overall considering how it started off.

Took a day off work to come see a vehicle that sold the night before after being assure it would be there . WAs offered the privilege of paying more for a similar vehicle with more miles. Couldn’t take no for an answer after I tried to cancel appointment and told them I wasn’t interested in any of their other inventory. After reading reviews, buying a new vehicle sounds like a better experience. If you intend to buy a used vehicle, bring your own financing because they will attempt to add 1-2% on your interest rate (that goes back to them) into your loan. Expect attitude when you realize they are attempting to rate hike your loan and choose to utilize your own financing. This a review of their service department! I have an issue with the heat in my 2023 Malibu. My car’s heat has been set at 76 ALL Winter and has pushed out hot air. Rarely do I have an issue such as this. But in short, I had a lease of 42 months. Buchanan was to cover 1 months payment. My sales agreement shows I'm only responsible for 41. Buchanan has never made payment #1. After repeated requests and assurances it was taken care of, It has not. Sadly, bad for Buchanan and CDJR. It hard to imagine this type of response. The positive was the front line sales person was very nice and did what she could.

Don’t buy the total care warranty!!! It was sold to us as covering everything other than tires, brakes, and oil changes. Have been there 3 times in the past year with MULTIPLE issues with the truck they sold me. 2 of the 3 visits have resulted in the service employee telling me that something isn’t covered by my TOTALCARE “FULL” warranty and they wanted to charge me over $500 this most recent time for a $30 part, plus charge me each time for my warranty’s deductible of $250 for the same issues that they weren’t fixing properly the first time… SCAM. This was the worse place I have ever been to. They were great selling the vehicle to me and then the truck had issues and the service department has been nothing but issues. They have lied and have been there 3 times in a year for the same issue. They also duck taped my vacuum line to “fix it”. I will never reccomend this place.

Over the phone they agreed on a buy back price. Pretty sure these guys sell auction cars as trade ins. Sold my daughter a car that had 2 replacement motors before us, and 10k miles later it got another. The “carfax” showed nothing on the report about this but Kia told us the truth. We just replaced the back tires because the rear was so mis-aligned that wires were showing in the tread. Buyer beware that’s all I’m going to say.

Service dept- Very poor communication, inaccurate information, Mark is horrible at his job.
Have had nothing but problems with this dealership, they've had my husband's truck for a month and Josh will not return our calls, and is conveniently never available when we call to follow up.
They have had my family member's vehicle for a full month with zero answers, every time we call to speak to the service manager he is never available, and does not return calls. Extremely poor customer service, they clearly do not care about doing right by, or even speaking to, their customers.
My husband bought a truck few months ago and he had a less than satisfactory experience and this should not surprise anyone because they don’t follow up on bad reviews but he had to get the truck detailed himself and no one addressed his concerns about the mismanagement of his deal with the numbers and lies from management not even a follow up email or phone call to dismiss him just left him hanging from his April issues. Also looks like they did it again two weeks ago to another customer. Shocker right looks like a theme here.
I was fortunate that my salesperson had another customer and gave me time to find the truck I wanted. Not sure why you can’t walk into a dealership and get the best price. Had an appointment at 1 for an inspection. Was told at 2 that I needed brakes and rotors on the front to pass inspection, they told me they had all the parts here to do them. 3:55 rolls around I asked for an update when it would be done, was told they had to go get the parts so another half hour or so. Don’t tell people you have everything to fix a vehicle if you don’t. How about I bill you for my time!

Had great deals online but once you got to the lot the truck with a deal on financing was already sold but still posted online for days after. They wouldn't stand behind any of the financing rates offered for an equivalent vehicle. And anything with the posted deal either wasn't in stock or a number of other reasons.
If I can make this a negative number I would. Buchanan service department in Waynesboro Pennsylvania is absolutely horrible. They order parts and when the part comes in they tell you it’s the wrong part and they have to re-order it and it comes in again with the same part and it’s the wrong part again.
